A possible marine project with Swedish roots. Mark and me are looking at it for a possible what if-scenario.

It's early 1940 and Sweden has bought quite a lot of military supplies from Italy, and what is interesting for this thread are the four destroyers; Romulus, Remus, Psilander and Puke.

My interest here my grandfather, Rolf Ström, who was commander of HMS Romulus. I've got a bit more material: a book (Jagarköp under krig), a report from 1941 on the whole affair (De i Italien inköpta jagarnas utrustning och hemfärd - classified until 1950), and a lot of correspondence.
